Join us for this special musical program directed by Louie Bailey that will include Jewish readings and music by Cantor Sharon Hordes, 海角社区's Chapel Choir, bass-baritone Gregory Emanuel Rahming, and other notable special guests. On Tuesday, May 13, we will engage in conversation with Rev. Dr. Melanie Jones Quarles as we reflect on the topic Womanist Leadership in the Black Church. We will also learn more about the Katie Geneva Cannon Center for Womanist Leadership at Union Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Rev. Dr. Melanie Jones Quarles is Assistant Professor of Ethics, Theology and Culture and Director of the Katie Geneva Cannon Center for Womanist Leadership at Union Presbyterian Seminary.

You're invited to join The Faithful Formation Project for a half day workshop with Rev. Margaret Alsup, M.Div., Chaplain of Lyon College, as we relearn and then reimagine the classic faith stage theory of James Fowler. Rev. Alsup will introduce us to a series of case studies which illustrate the faith stages of today's young people. If you are a pastor of an intergenerational church, a professional who works with children, youth, or families in any religious context, or a caregiver who desires to nurture the faith of a young person, this event is for you.

2025 MOSAIC SYMPOSIUM Theme: ”Who Is My Neighbor?“ A faithful and justice-led exploration of our call when diversity, equity, and inclusion programs & initiatives are under assault.

This immersive, in-person experience is designed for all LPTS students - whether you鈥檙e joining us on campus or learning remotely during the year - along with other LPTS constituents. The centerpiece is a 1-credit intensive course (Aug 26鈥28) developed by our faculty to explore faith, justice, and identity in our current cultural moment. Join us for a week of embodied learning, shared meals, artistic reflection, fieldwork, and connection across all degree programs.
